It is my pleasure to welcome you to the family of Prairie Elementary School for the 2020-2021 school year! My name is Mrs. Loire Aubrey and as the principal, I would like to tell you how lucky I am to be working beside this phenomenal group of teachers and students! We are blessed to have Mr. Kent Morrison as our fantastic Guidance Counselor, Amy Moser as our new Instructional Coach and together, in partnership with the incredible Prairie faculty, we are so thrilled to enter into an exciting time of learning for students at Prairie!
Prairie Elementary received the Imagine Nation School of Excellence Award for schools and students who demonstrated outstanding usage, dedication and implementation of an Imagine Learning Program throughout the 2019-2020 school year. We are so proud of our students!
Our work at Prairie centers around providing a safe, motivating environment where learning is our priority! The partnership between school and home is a relationship that is critical to our students; success so we encourage your involvement and engagement! We promise to do our very best to provide strong communication and support. Prairie has new hours this year and our school day will begin at 7:50 A.M. and end at 2:50 P.M. Classroom instruction begins promptly at 7:50 A.M. Attendance matters to us and we need your student here on time each day ready for learning because we, the administration and staff, are ready!
I hope that you will not hesitate to call our office for any questions or concerns that you may have. You are a valuable part of our team and we look forward to getting to know your students! It’s going to be another fabulous and productive year! Please check our school website, as well as our Prairie calendars and newsletters for dates of interest that will be updated throughout the school year.
