Illustration Of A Christmas Tree.pngTis the season to be JOLLY! We have made it to the most wonderful time of year.  It is the time to stop, reflect, and be thankful for all the blessings we have this year. I am so amazed and proud of our students during this time of year, especially to see the students raise money and bring canned food items for our local food bank. Great job to the students here, at Guymon Junior High! What many blessings the Guymon Junior High has! Currently we are providing backpacks for students in need on the weekends, the backpacks contain canned food items, snacks, and cereal to help students and their families have a sufficient amount of food during the weekends. Big Thanks to Sherry Stonecipher at the Guymon High School and The Regional Food Bank in OKC for allowing our students to participate in this program. Another blessing the Guymon Junior High participates in is our local Coats for Kids provided very generously by the Victory Memorial United Methodist Church, we must extend another ‘thank you’ to Michelle Hyer, the Chairman of Coats for Kids. Because of Michelle and this charitable program, we have had students in need, supplied with warm, brand new, winter coats. Again, I am so proud of our school, our students, and our community! I hope that many of you, whether you are a student, a teacher, or a friend, is finding the time to take a moment to be grateful for life’s many blessings. I know I have. I am looking forward to the holiday season and all of its’ merry activities. As always, if you or someone you know is struggling with life’s issues or stresses, please reach out to me. I can help! The holidays can be stressful. Take good care of yourself! Many, many blessings to you and your family! #proud2beatiger
