About Us

On October 3, 1966, Carrier Elementary school was dedicated and named. It was given the name Carrier after  Frank O. Carrier and his wife Ana Carrier. Mr. Carrier at the time of dedication had been a principal in the Guymon School system for 18 years and Mrs. Carrier was a school teacher.

Today Carrier Elementary is the site of Guymon Public Schools pre-school program. The building has 5 teachers and 10 teaching assistants. We offer two pre-school sessions (AM and PM) and have about 166 students.
